In 2005, Zhangbi Castle was known for its rich historical and cultural heritage
In 2005, Zhangbi Castle was selected as one of China’s top ten charming towns with its rich historical and cultural heritage, along with Wuzhen, Zhejiang and Xidihong Village, Anhui. In 2006, it was listed as a national key cultural relics protection unit and the only one in Shanxi Province. Shuangliu is a national historical and cultural village and a traditional Chinese village.
